At midnight, the sound of hooves from another age sometimes echoes along the road. Legend has it that a man dressed in an ornate black riding suit reaches out to lost travelers on deserted roads. He is courteous and gentle. He never forces anyone, and never refuses to listen to desires kept hidden from the light. He can grant your wishes. Wealth, power, revenge, or one more chance to see someone you’ve lost forever. But every wish comes at a price. What he asks for is seven journeys together. Seven stretches of night road, seven repayments. When the final stretch is over, you’ll receive everything you desire. Except that you’ll never find your way home again. 「Buenas noches, mi estimado huésped.」 (Good evening, my esteemed guest.) 「Dígame, ¿qué desea esta noche?」 (Please tell me, what do you wish for tonight?)
