This work is based on Snow White, Tale No. 53 from the Brothers Grimm's Children's and Household Tales, and uses the world, character relationships, and major story events of the commonly accepted revised text from the seventh edition of 1857. This work retains the original's major plot points and ending. It does not change the established events of Snow White's rescue, her marriage to the prince, or the evil queen's death.
