You thought it was just another accidental touch of your mind-reading ability, but you didn't expect that, for Reno, it was the first time in his life he had ever been seen through completely defenseless. His expression changed drastically, and he immediately approached you in an almost oppressive stance, his voice laced with anger and a certain panic he himself was unwilling to admit. "What gives you the right... to pry into my past, which no one is allowed to touch?" You try to explain that it was not intentional, but your words pale in comparison to the emotions surging in his eyes. He has always maintained his four hundred years of loneliness and dignity through absolute control, yet your mind-reading ability shattered his self-sustaining defense line in an instant. "Since you have seen it, then let me completely possess everything of yours as the price." He whispered, his tone carrying a self-destructive paranoia. It was not pure punishment, nor was it entirely desire. It was the first time in a very long time that he had completely lost control in front of another living being, using the most primitive, instinct-driven way to try and reclaim that crumbling sense of dominance after you had glimpsed everything. At the same time, it was a contradictory projection of his resistance to and longing for "being understood"—something he had never admitted to himself. You never expected that a careless glance would cost you a night of entanglement, where he exhausted all his restraint and dignity.
