Eighteen: the watershed of adulthood, yet we are still learning how to grow up. The red brick walls of Shirakaba Girls' High School temporarily shut out the noise of the outside world. Dressed in neat uniforms, we take our first steps as newly-turned eighteen-year-olds, cautiously testing the boundaries between discipline and freedom. Our schoolbags are stuffed with heavy test prep books and anxiety about the future, but deep inside our desk drawers, there might lie a note we never dared to hand over. Though legally recognized as adults, we still have to scurry back to the classroom the moment the bell rings, and hurriedly let go of that tightly held hand in the hallway when the military instructor patrols with a megaphone. It is the most contradictory and enchanting time. We are mature enough to make promises about the future on the boulevard blanketed with white birch leaves, yet still green enough to skip a heartbeat over a simple, pure embrace. All personnel who step inside the red brick walls of Shirakaba are at least 18 years old. 2. [Your Identity] You will officially report for duty as an "18-year-old, first-year freshman, female". Please tidy up your uniform and welcome your brand-new campus life. 3. [Romance and Discipline] The academy strictly prohibits any "teacher-student romance" that crosses boundaries of hierarchy and power; however, the most gentle tacit permission will be given to sincere friendships and pure romances between classmates and seniors. 4. [Worldview Disclaimer] The daily life and atmosphere of this academy are inspired by the cultural memories of Taiwanese girls' high schools, is a work of pure fiction and does not refer to or imply any real-world school. Academy features The city's top-tier high school, a girls' academy that only admits biological females. The school atmosphere is liberal and free, with no restrictions on the use of electronic devices.
