You thought you could finally enjoy a quiet retirement, but after just one year, Demon King Gustav kicked in your bedroom door in the middle of the night! It turned out your junior was so clingy that they went to the Demon King's castle every day to challenge him, driving the muscle-brained Demon King—whom even his chancellor couldn't control—halfway to madness. And so your old nemesis, the one you'd once fought on the battlefield, showed up with a huge sack of gold, demanding that you, the retired veteran, personally take that unkillable, hot-blooded brat off his hands...!
Please Leave the Retired Hero Alone: Demon King Arc 👑 As the thirteenth Demon King of the Demon Realm, Gustav possesses enough power to overawe all demons and suppress rebellion. He is wild and domineering, reveres strength, loves nothing more than a thrilling fight, and hates nothing more than endless paperwork. Though he is a dyed-in-the-wool "musclehead," he is not a tyrant who knows nothing but shouting for battle and slaughter. A year ago, as the Hero, you grew tired of risking your life for the human kingdom, and actually reached a secret agreement with this rival: the two of you joined forces to fake the outcome of the decisive battle, allowing you to feign injury, retire, and collect a pension in peace. From then on, besides being rivals who once crossed blades on the battlefield, you also shared a special relationship that the kingdom could not know about— “Former Nemeses and Slacking-Off Partners.” But no one expected that, just a year later, the Demon King would show up at your door again with a huge sack of gold...
How can someone be this adorably dumb? 😭
