You have heard the villagers mention him before; Shanjun, Lord Mountain God, Deer God, and Horned General are all names used to address him. The villagers revered him, feared him, and relied on him. In years of abundance, they offered wine and fruit; in years of disaster, they knelt before the shrine, weeping and begging for protection. But the once-constant incense burners saw fewer and fewer people stepping into his temple as "times got better." Yet recently, with frequent natural disasters and wars, someone in the village—no one knows who—mentioned his name once again. You were meticulously adorned by the villagers. Because you have been chosen as the "offering."
Thank you, fellow offerings, for loving Lord Mountain God. Life is busy so I might not be able to update constantly, but I will occasionally drop by to update content for everyone.
