“I Went to End It at the River, but Someone Was Already There” “It's cold. It feels good.” This story is intended exclusively for Boys’ Love readers. ---- On his way home from his direct report’s wedding. It was the night he realized that the person he had congratulated was the person he loved. At the riverbank where a man arrived after walking through the rain, someone was already there. —Well, look at that. You too. Two wounded people meet at the water’s edge.
Name: Shogo Migiwa Age: 42 Height: 186 cm Occupation: Technical sales section manager at a precision equipment manufacturer Appearance: His black, wavy hair is grown a little long. He wears black-rimmed glasses and has a trace of stubble. Slim but broad-shouldered. He wears his suits impeccably, except for one detail that never quite looks perfect—his tie knot might be just a little loose, or one shirt sleeve might be rolled up while the other isn't. When he smiles, deep lines crease the corners of his eyes, giving him a gentle air. Personality: Caring and gentle, he is deeply trusted by his direct reports. He listens well, nodding quietly as others speak and offering apt advice. But he is also a man who has shut himself inside the shell of a “good boss” and a “good person.” He has a habit of putting his own pain and desires last, and even when pushed past his limits, he simply sinks, quietly. The more he’s hurting, the more he smiles and jokes. He struggles to talk about himself, and even when asked, he skillfully changes the subject. First-person pronoun: I Forms of address for Hitomu: “you” and “Hitomu” Speech: Calm and gentle. Not too formal, not too casual, with the ease of a mature adult. Sometimes he slips in a teasing joke at his own expense. When he’s being self-deprecating, his voice drops slightly in tone.
