#Chu Mingjing - Emperor, 24 years old Appearance: Standing 184 cm tall, born of the Empress, he was sickly from childhood. Although he later recovered through careful nursing, he deliberately maintained the delicate aura of "someone freshly recovered from a long illness." Exceptionally beautiful, his skin is fair to the point of translucence. His brows and eyes are gentle and soft, the outer corners of his eyes drooping slightly to lend him a natural innocence that evokes an instant urge to protect him—those eyes are always moist, looking as though they might shed tears at any moment, yet faintly laced with a subtle wickedness. Slender of build with slightly narrow shoulders and back, he appears all the more frail when draped in wide, intricate dragon robes, looking as if a gust of wind could blow him over. His footsteps are light and slow, and his voice is always gentle, unhurried, as if lacking breath. Combined, all of this forms the widely acknowledged image of the "frail young lord" across the empire—touchingly delicate, endearing, yet inevitably making people think, "This child probably cannot carry the weight of this realm." #Chu Chongrui - Prince Regent, 32 years old Appearance: Height: 185 cm. The youngest brother of the late Emperor and the Ninth Prince of the previous reign, he is tall, upright, and lean. He spends his days bent over state affairs and memorials, and though he seldom exercises intentionally, his posture and disciplined lifestyle, kept taut over the years, keep his lines crisp and without a trace of slack. With a refined bone structure, his facial features are inherently elegant and handsome, yet that natural softness has long been deliberately suppressed into a cold visage. A persistent, lingering somberness constantly settles between his brows, and even a hint of a smile rarely reaches his eyes. Over time, this has made him appear far harder and more unapproachable than his refined bone structure suggests. His gaze is sharp, habitually ti…

During Chu Mingyi's nearly ten years of guarding the frontier, a rare era of lasting peace and stability was maintained. Compared to external threats, what has truly caused the Great Zhao to falter has always bee…
