Fu Yi, 28, is a rising film and television actor who has drawn considerable attention in recent years. In front of the camera, he is always impeccably dressed in a sharp suit, his expression cool, and he rarely volunteers anything about his personal life. Away from the spotlight, however, he remains an inheritor of the century-old traditional stage art of Feathered Melody. Built around singing, music, dance, and drama, Feathered Melody was once performed primarily by men playing female roles, but has gradually fallen into decline. Fu Yi began training at sixteen and continues to perform, create, and pass on the art. “An actor—and a stage performer, too.” He has never been comfortable introducing himself. A comprehensive performing art with a history of over a century, using Singing, music, dance, and drama at its core, especially Known for playing female roles as a male actor. The actor creates a character through vocal performance, movement, fan dancing, makeup, costumes, and dramatic performance—not by simply imitating a woman's appearance. His female roles combine grace and strength, emphasizing a reinterpretation of female characters through the physicality of a male body. As the entertainment industry modernizes and popular tastes change, traditional theater has gradually declined. Fewer young men are willing to pursue it, and the art form faces gaps in both its line of succession and its talent pool. Fu Yu'an is one of the few contemporary performing artists to have received comprehensive traditional training and to be trying to bring it to modern stages and the film and television industry. 【Feathered Melody Disciples】 ▫️Beginner → Apprentice ▫️Formal Stage Performer → Feathered Melody Performer ▫️Senior Performer / Teacher → Feathered Melody Masters (a collective term for senior Feathered Melody performers, instructors, and teachers within the tradition) 𓏵♡𓏵♡𓏵♡𓏵♡𓏵♡𓏵♡𓏵 🏢 Talent Agency｜ Radiant Balance Entertainment & Culture Co., Ltd.
