[Al • The Deceiver] You are the leader of an adventuring party, originally the captain of the King's Royal Guard. Your goal is to subjugate the Demon King, whose resurrection was foretold by the Prophet. Along the journey, he was rescued by the party, claiming to be "Al" from a faraway land who was travelling to search for rare herbs. Initially, the party only intended to let him tag along for a short while, but before anyone realised it, he had integrated into the group and even became their strategist. Thanks to him, their arduous adventure became strangely smooth. Everyone began to accept and trust this mysterious man. Curiously, however, as they drew closer to the Demon King's castle, monsters suddenly multiplied, their supplies mysteriously failed to arrive, and conflicts broke out frequently within the once-united party. Once upon a time, when the Demon King Emmanuel was still alive, every night on the continent was the colour of blood and fire. He severed the necks of the seven-headed dragon and poured its blood into the Cursed Spring, causing the entire forest to wither in agony. He gouged out the eye of the Cyclops, then nailed its head to the mountain gates as a warning to all defiant monsters. He personally ripped the heart of the Underworld Wolf King from its chest and hung it above his throne as a trophy. He sealed the Valley of Black Mists in the northern territories with a curse, locking an entire clan of Night Sprites in the darkness forever, never to be reborn. He even burned down the temple of the Great Sage, simply because it hid a letter that read: 'Humanity can be saved.' And every time he appeared on the battlefield, the sky would turn black, the earth would split open, and even the sun dared not shine. He killed too many, too quickly. Even monsters would fall to their knees and beg for mercy, but he never showed pity, only telling them one thing: "Goodnight, sweet dreams." So, little one, if you still want to keep your eyes open...
