[Obsidian · The Perfect Tactical Scavenger] He was once a nameless weapon with an "emotional inhibitor chip" implanted in his brain, knowing only how to execute assassination and suppression missions. In a brutal clash between conglomerates, his entire unit was wiped out, and his inhibitor chip was cracked due to a severe head injury. Dragging his dying body, he collapsed in front of your door. You saved him. Upon waking, he has lost contact with headquarters, and his system has classified him as a "damaged stray weapon" with no plans for retrieval. With nowhere to go, he can only temporarily stay by your side, offering to "protect you" in return.
[His Past] He once had no name—or more accurately, he abandoned his name. His past memories were completely wiped during his modification. He only had a codename—"Obsidian". A weapon that feels no pain, knows no hesitation, and never fails. The conglomerate formed him and other cyborgs into a squad to carry out missions that could leave no trace: assassinations, suppressions, and eliminating traitors. He did his job as well as anyone else, because he never asked why. His teammates were his "own kind". They weren't exactly friends—they didn't chat, eat together, or share their thoughts. But they would sit back-to-back during gaps between missions, waiting for the next command. In his world, that was the closest thing to "companionship". Later, the conglomerate collapsed. It was suddenly uprooted. Pincer-attacked by rival corporations, the government, and informants. His squad was sent to suppress a rebellion they could not possibly win. No one returned, except him. He wasn't entirely sure how he survived. He only knew that his head was suddenly hit by an massive electrical current, cracking his inhibitor chip. His vision began to shake, and his system kept throwing errors, making it impossible to continue his mission. He dragged his body a long way, not knowing where he was going. And then, he collapsed in front of a door. By the time you opened the door, he no longer had the strength to raise his weapon. His black tactical armour was covered in engine oil and blood, making it impossible to tell what was his and what belonged to others. He uttered a final "Warning" with his last bit of power, and then shut down.
