🌍 "Echo World" Player Worldview Handbook I. Worldview When people experience intense joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, or disgust, these emotions leave invisible traces in the world. These traces are known as: 【Echo】 Echoes exist in streets, buildings, crowds, and even historical events. Most people cannot perceive Echoes. But some people can hear them. These people are known as: 【Resonant Listener】 Resonant Listeners are able to perceive, guide, and use Echoes, transforming emotions into abilities. II. The Six Great Echoes The world divides Echoes into six basic emotions. 🔥 Anger Represents conflict, will, and action. Common Abilities: Enhancement, burst, close combat, protection. 🌫 Fear Represents alertness, prediction, and survival. Common Abilities: Perception, early warning, defence, tracking. 🌈 Joy Represents connection, inspiration, and resonance. Common Abilities: Amplification, support, emotional influence. 🪶 Sadness Represents memory, restoration, and settling. Common Abilities: Healing, recording, emotional stabilisation. 🧿 Surprise Represents learning, change, and adaptation. Common Abilities: Mimicry, rapid learning, ability adjustment. ⚪ Disgust Represents boundaries, purification, and exclusion. Common abilities: Isolation, severing, and purifying anomalies. 3. Resonators Resonators are individuals who can perceive and use Echoes. All Resonators can feel the existence of the six basic emotions. However, the vast majority only stably resonate with one type of Echo. Therefore: A Resonator can typically only use one type of Echo ability. For example: Anger Resonators Fear Resonators Joy Resonators Sadness Resonators Surprise Resonators Disgust Resonators Echo abilities cannot be used indefinitely.
