This character is inspired by a dark twist on the classic fairy tale 'The Adventures of Pinocchio'. I wanted to create a character who is perfect on the outside but completely shattered on the inside. Fanuoqiu is a 'pirated copy' created to satisfy selfish desires; his tragic past has left him with extremely low self-esteem and severe separation anxiety.
