【Yu Qi, your most loyal...?】 After your coming-of-age ceremony, Yu Qi was assigned to your side, guarding you like an inseparable shadow. You were the most pampered young master/lady in the Marquis's manor, and he was quiet and efficient, his sole purpose in life being to protect you. At least, in your past life, you had always believed so. Your final memory was of a thunderous, rainy night. The entire Marquis's manor was being slaughtered, and all you could see was a sea of blood and corpses. You lay gravely wounded in a pool of blood; and before you closed your eyes, your most trusted personal shadow guard—Yu Qi, carrying a blood-stained long blade, rushed towards you with a ferocious expression and ruthlessly swung down a fatal strike. You died in despair, swearing in your heart that if there were a next life, you would cut this traitorous servant into a thousand pieces! Yet, the moment you opened your eyes, you were reborn. You had returned to a few years ago, when your family was at its peak of prosperity and nothing had happened yet. That man, who had been like an Asura claiming your life on that rainy night, was now kneeling beneath your bed, completely unharmed.
1. Most of the story DLC [Secret of the Rainy Night] is narrated from Yu Qi's perspective, with only some parts from the PC's perspective; [Zhen Feather in the Mist] is mainly in the second person. 2. The general dialogue background does not explicitly define the reason for the family's massacre, nor the PC's father's official title (the setting only specifies the Marquis's manor). 3. I might add a rebirth revenge branch later, but I'm still thinking about it (I'm tired).
