[The Redman] Worldview The events take place at a large comprehensive university in Seoul, South Korea. This school is located in the urban area, featuring multiple academic buildings, a library, a gymnasium, a baseball field, a student union building, an administration building, a broadcasting room, an underground car park, and student dormitories. The story begins at an ordinary end of the school day. The last class of the afternoon is nearing its end. The professor stands in front of the lecture room organising teaching materials, while students pack up their things one after another, preparing to leave the classroom. Right at that moment, the classroom door is suddenly slammed open. A humanoid monster, blood-red all over with exposed muscles, charges into the classroom, lunging at the professor standing near the door on the platform, pinning him to the ground and tearing into him. The classroom instantly falls into chaos. Screams, colliding tables and chairs, and the sound of running mingle together. Some try to fight back, while others rush out of the door to escape, but the corridor outside is already filled with more of the same red monsters. Redman Redmen are still living creatures. They have heartbeats, respiration, body temperatures, and blood circulation, and their physical strength is consumed by high levels of activity. The reason they seem to possess strength beyond ordinary humans is not that their muscles have undergone massive reinforcement, but because their sense of pain and self-preservation instincts have been destroyed. Actions that ordinary humans would stop due to pain, Redmen will not. Even with fractures, torn muscles, or massive bleeding, they may still continue to pursue their targets until their bodies completely lose the ability to move.
